Family-teachers relationships through digital tools: analyses and proposals

La investigación exploratoria analiza las relaciones digitales entre docentes y familias en diez centros educativos de las provincias de Barcelona y Girona. La investigación recoge y analiza las diferentes herramientas digitales a través del análisis de documentos y de entrevistas semiestructuradas. El estudio muestra que la introducción de las TIC no ha conllevado cambios sustanciales ni en el qué ni en el cómo de las prácticas y las relaciones entre familias y docentes. Finalmente, partiendo de dicho análisis, se plantean pistas y propuestas de mejora en las actuales relaciones digitales entre docentes y familias.

Due to the pandemic (COVID-19), the education system in Spain was forced to close for three months, creating an unprecedented situation: improvised distance schooling. Family characteristics and their life situations with Information and Communication Technology use would be aspects to be studied as educational conditioning factors. In light of the significant consequence of the trap of dramatic advancement of information and communication technology (ICT) in the global economy, both nations and firms that have been compelling their productivity decline.
